Purpose of the Position:

To drive a wide range of campaigns for Showmax and DStv, across channels like SMS, push, email, and in-app
Ensure creative projects are on track and coordinate campaign and product launches across multiple channels and territories, in order to drive customers through the funnel and stimulate engagement

Stay up to date with technology which impacts CVM automation
Understand and analyze campaign results and identify actionable opportunities to improve performance
Research trends and understand market conditions and competitor data in order to incorporate learning into campaigns
Maintain the CVM marketing calendar and manage briefs across channels and regions
Take accountability for keeping all projects on track in accordance with set timelines
Support and manage day-to-day communications with our internal and external agency
Assist in compiling presentations for business reviews as necessary
Collaboration and stakeholder management
Support the CVM Marketing automation managers in development, implementation and execution of campaigns
Assist in managing vendors, contracts and partner negotiations
Project manage and coordinate between, agencies, automation managers, and multiple other areas of the business, which campaigns might touch
Work with the broader team to put in top notch briefs that meet campaign requirements
Qualifications

A Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
Experience and Skills

A minimum of 3-5 years CRM marketing experience
Experience in online CRM and campaign management tools and any other personalised digital tools
Knowledge or previous experience working with providers such as Salesforce, Braze or Optimove.
Experience, ability and appetite to manage complexity in initiatives and campaigns
Experience of A/B testing and campaign optimisation for conversion or engagement
Strong editing and copy writing skills
Problem solving capabilities and intellectual curiosity
Ability to closely monitor timelines and concurrent campaigns supporting various business goals
Understanding of the impact of words on creative results
A baseline understanding of lifecycle marketing and technical CRM automation
A solid understanding of e-mail and CRM marketing as well as base level strategies and metrics associated with it
A creative flair and the ability to know what creative will drive results and where testing is required
An analytical background is advantageous
