Job Purpose
Process Engineer II role is expected to work with businesses, projects and Process Leads to identify areas where performance or processes can be developed or improved, and to help stakeholders and process owners to develop strategies to stay competitive in the marketplace. The role is well suited to people with leadership skills, agile mindset, great interpersonal and communication skills, design thinking, strong analytical skills, an aptitude for analysing data, and great business acumen. To drive strategic and tactical aspects of discovering; validating; documenting; and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modelling; simulating and analysing current and future states; focusing on complex business outcomes using technical expertise; in line with the business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking accountability for delivery in terms of resource budget, scope and time.
Reduce business time and cost through process efficiencies along with requisite justification.
Measure and track process improvement resulting in tangible and intangible benefits.
Professionally consult with beneficiary and delivery stakeholders across clusters.
Build and maintain network with professionals within the field.
Build trust through delivery achieving trusted advisory status with the business.
Engage and Manage relations with 3rd party vendors.
Attend strategy planning sessions.
Contribute and provide input on the strategic direction of the cluster/bank from a process perspective.
Understand all the regulatory and compliance drivers for the business within their customer domain.
Understand the required risk controls within the risk appetite within their customer domain.
Proactively plan e.g. business plans, strategy input and roadmaps
Establishment of measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
Ensure work completed to plan, progress reviewed & corrective action taken and solutions integrated end to end.
Resource utilisation produced balanced output i.e quality, cost, business expectations and compliance
Identified and resolved work obstacles and problems effectively and had contingency options to deliver required output
Essential Qualifications – NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Business degree, IT degree, Engineering degree (Industrial) – or equivalent

Minimum Experience Level
Banking Experience a must
Should Have 15 years working experience
5 -10 years relevant Process experience
working experience as a process engineer in different industries
Have in depth understanding of the BPMN and ARIS notations
Process asset management
In dept understanding of different process and business analysis techniques
In depth understanding of at least one process framework
Business Architecture training or certification an advantage
Business analysis foundational training
Have experience in working on projects
Experience in agile methodologies and hybrid
software development, UI/UX and data experience will be advantageous
Experience in communicating at different levels in the organisation
Define business processes and value chains and frameworks
Must be able to develop procedure manuals
Should be able to act as a change management agent as when required
Experience in leading and providing guidance to other
