Provide a strong support base and back up for all sales activities, internal and external.
Assist customers with technical enquiries and issuing of accurate quotations.
You will be expected to prepare quotations for customers, with the use of price lists and intranet system and global factory communications.
Ensure the completion of the sales process from enquiry to successful delivery and payment.
Proactively follow up on offers made and constantly liaising with customers regarding status of orders and back orders.
Debtors – send invoices and statements and collect payments from customers.
Debtors – complete debtors report and send to head office.
Creditors – Process supplier invoices and send to head office.
Control and reconcile petty cash.
Completing sales reports for senior management when required.
Filing of all documents.
Source parts required for all non-company products.
Assist with walk-in customers.
Assist in deliveries and collections of stocks, supplier parts and pumps for service.
Prepare spares and pumps that must be picked for delivery / collection by customers.
Provide follow up dates and actions for next service.
Order stock for MRP and customer orders from head office weekly.
Prepare the required marketing material for the branch.
Purchasing of monthly office consumables.
Co-ordinate customer events, such as lunches and refreshments.
Must know and adhere to all health and safety requirements.
You will be expected to drive continuous improvement and lean development within the business unit. Achievement of business plan targets and alignment to company core values in particular
Education: Minimum Requirements
Post matric courses & certificates would be an advantage
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Previous experience in internal sales experience in a company focusing on sales and support of a technical product (such as pumps, compressors and valves) to an industrial customer base such as food, beverage, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics.
Experience dealing with agents / distributors and re-sellers of a product is a benefit.
Sage Pastel is an added advantage
