Job Description

Manage key dependencies, roles and project risks.
Responsible for successful project outcomes.
Delivers specified requirements and meets customer satisfaction.
Reporting on project progress at regular intervals, to be presented to project boards
Escalates decisions and or unresolved issues and in doing so makes recommendations.
Liaising with vendors and suppliers/consultants.
Integrates delivery and metrics across the people, process, finance and customer dimensions of the business.
Establishes and updates project plans with actuals and forecasts, and manages deviations from the plan.
Ensuring the project objective is clear.
Plans and manages the deployment of resources to meet project milestones.
Manages the people, processes and technology required to deliver solutions effectively, according to the project requirements.
Stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing one or more projects within a functional area within the agreed scope, quality, time and budget specifications. The intermediate Business Project Manager will report to the PM Competency Manager within the MFC PMO (project management office).

Qualification/Experience:
Rel 3 yr tertiary qualification.
Accredited Project Mngt qualification is essential.
2 – 5yrs proven track record successfully delivering and implementing projects.
Experience in 1 or more Project Management framework (PMI, Prince 2 etc)
Agile experience is advantageous
Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, high pressured environment is required

Responsibilities:
·         Receives Project Business Case and ensures the project objective is clearly articulated, documented and communicated
·         Establishes and updates project plans with actuals and forecasts, and actively manages deviations from the plan.
·         Delivers specified requirements and meets customer satisfaction.
·         Reporting on project progress at regular intervals, to be presented to project boards & applicable stakeholders
·         Escalates decisions and or unresolved issues and in doing so makes recommendations for mitigation.
·         Liaising with vendors and suppliers/consultants if required.
·         Integrates delivery across the people, process, finance and customer dimensions of the business and manages dependencies on all stakeholders/parties
·         Facilitates the identification of benefit targets, KPIs and metrics & track and report when required
·         Plans and manages the allocation of resources to meet project milestones.
·         Manages the people, processes and technology required to deliver solutions effectively, according to the project requirements.
·         Customer & stakeholder management
·         Manages the scope of the project/s and highlights any deviations via change requests
·         Establishes and updates project budget forecasts, track actuals and actively manages deviations
