Job Description

This role is in the OMW Finance Administration Businesses team and will support Old Mutual Investment Services (“OMIS”).  OMIS is registered with the FSCA as a Linked Investment Service Provider (LISP), it holds a Category III FSP licence to act as an Administrative FSP in terms of FAIS Act, and s13b administration licence in terms of the Pension Funds’ Act.  This role is accountable for execution of the business plan and for governance & compliance at an operational level. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through the efforts of others, over periods of up to a year.

 

Key Results areas:

Generates financial information
Reviews journal entries and monthly management reports
Preparation of balance sheet recons
Analyses and reports on variances
Maintains suitable financial control environment
Support preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Review  income tax and VAT submissions
Review and support HFM submissions
Liaise with external auditors
Supports the execution of a business plan
Resolves intercompany mismatches
Qualification, Skills and Experience:

B.Comm accounting or similar and relevant financial services experience
Accounting experience
Oracle financials and HFM experience advantageous
OMIS knowledge advantageous
