RCL FOODS is seeking to employ an experienced Process Leader to supervise the performance of a processing line in a specific area of the plant (including staff / process workers, machinery and material on that line) to achieve daily targets, to required product specifications while meeting safety, health and Quality standards. The role will be based at the P2 Processing Plant in Hammarsdale and reports in to the Senior Process Leader.
Minimum of a Grade 12 or equivalent. A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous. 2 – 3 years’ experience at Supervisory level within an FMCG production environment will be advantageous, preferably with poultry processing experience. Have a valid code B/EB (Code 08) driver’s license with access to his/her own transport. Have good interpersonal communication and leadership skills. Be willing to work shifts and flexible hours of work. Have a good technical and mechanical understanding. Have basic computer literacy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Managing, leading, controlling and training a working team. Daily planning of shift work. Achieving of daily/weekly team targets. Production related administration and recording. Quality and efficiency control. Setting correct software program parameters on automated machinery.
