RCL FOODS is searching for a Stores Supervisor to join our Chicken Agriculture team based in Rustenburg. The role reports to the Maintenance Planner and requires a highly motivated individual who has strong experience in dealing with stock within a Experience in stores environment environment.
Grade 12 / A degree/diploma in Finance, Warehouse or logistic management will be advantageous At least 3 years’ experience in a stores environment SAP experience Code B driver’s license and own transport
Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting in managing all aspects of a store Maximising turnover, driving internal customer service and stock control Leading and developing a team Scheduling and assigning employees Recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Achieving financial objectives aligned with Commercial Department’s KPI’s Building relationships with Suppliers Managing security and risk within the store as well implementing Health and Safety standards Complies with legal and organisational compliance requirements as per RCL Foods Policy Takes responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development Maintain and run daily the MRP report for stock replenishment Review bi-annually the stock levels to identify excess stock Review bi-annually slow moving stock and communicate through to Maintenance Department Management of Stores team: Supervision of stores employees, tasks and time management. Ensure Team Adheres to the Standard operation procedures. Ensuring that Store men renders a professional service to all end users Accountable for Stock Management in Stores: Organise and maintain inventory and stores areas. Implement systems for clear organisation and maintenance of stock on hand. Ensure stock accuracy via cycle counts and stock taking. Manage slow moving stock to prevent excess stock Stores administration: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, which includes the Receipt, Credit and Return process. Liaise with both Debtors and Creditors when queries arise and resolve timeously. Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis. Responsible for all loose assets under his/her control.
