Job Description
RCL FOODS is recruiting for an Officer: Grower Support to join our dynamic Sugar Team! The position reports into the Managing Director (Akwandze) and is based at our charming Akwandze office in Malelane. As the Officer: Grower Support, You will be responsible for driving projects and grower turnaround plans, social facilitation of business solutions and supporting the broader team in terms of loan applications and monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
B.Sc Agriculture (Agricultural Economics) / B.Agricultural Management, SASA Senior Certificate in Sugar Cane Agriculture will be an advantage. Ability to fluently communicate in either SiSwati or isiZulu and competent in English. 3 years’ experience in the developmental agricultural sector with either production and or administration experience. Valid Driver’s License
Duties & Responsibilities
Management of funds which entails marketing, networking with potential clients an assist with compliance reporting to funders and statutory organizations. Completion of loan applications and submission of all supporting documentation within AAF Policies and Procedures. Loan and savings disbursement and verify that correct order information has been captured. Monthly loan monitoring and reports (tracking cane deliveries vs estimate, loan redemption, periodic farm inspections, liaison with Extension Staff and Service Providers and client liaison). Facilitate social cohesion, communication and a cordial relationship with funders, clients, mill staff, service providers and other stakeholders.
