Department Description

Purpose:

 

To assist the Operations Manager by taking delegated responsibility for all maintenance related work

Brief Description

Key responsibilities include the following:

•         Implementing and monitoring of the maintenance budget

•         Ensure quotations and invoices are submitted to the finance department

•         Establish effective communication channels in collaboration with internal clients and external Service Providers

•         Daily water reticulations inspections

•         Attend to specialized maintenance requests

•         Ensure that all staff have appropriate PPE for related task as per the Health & Safety Policy/Guideline

•         Monthly Health & Safety Inspection list completed

•         Reporting of IR and ER issues to Operations Manager

•         Involved in projects

•         Any other reasonable instruction by management

 

Requirements:

•         Grade 12

•         N6 Electrical Qualification

•         Trade Test will be advantageous

•         Valid driver’s license

 

Required years of related experience

•         At least 5 years’ experience in general building maintenance

•         3-5 years’ electrical maintenance experience

•         Own accommodation and transport in the Limpopo/ Hoedspruit area

 

Technical Competencies

•         Intermediate Computer Literacy (MS office)

•         Exposure to HVAC (Air-conditioning Systems)

•         Sound knowledge and understanding of Water Reticulation, Boreholes and Pumps

•         Sound knowledge and understanding of Stock -taking
